The Three B's - Northumberland, 18 January 2024

Our “3 B’s”  day tour of Beadnell Bay, Bamburgh and Budle Bay is back by popular demand. This spectacular section of the North East coast is not only idyllic, but it also hosts some wonderful birds.

There is a good chance of seeing impressive flocks of ducks, waders and geese at Budle Bay before they migrate northwards to breed. We have regularly seen excellent numbers of Geese including Brent, Pink-footed and Barnacle Geese. At Bamburgh there is a good chance of seeing Common Scoter, the likelihood of seeing the beautiful Long-tailed Duck and even the possibility of seeing Slavonian Grebe and three species of diver. And in Beadnell Bay we may come across Twite and other winter specials like the Snow Buntings. See blog for details on past tours.
